How I Work

My work is relational, somatic, and trauma-informed. I integrate parts work, EMDR, polyvagal theory, and nervous system education to support lasting change—not just symptom relief. Sessions are tailored to your unique nervous system, attachment history, and pace of healing.

Whether you’re feeling burned out, stuck in old patterns, or struggling to connect—therapy can be a space to slow down, listen inward, and begin again with greater clarity and self-trust.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world—often in ways we don’t fully recognize until something starts to break down. Whether you’re carrying the weight of early attachment wounds, medical or sexual trauma, or the impact of long-term stress, therapy can help you begin to untangle those survival strategies and find a new way forward.

My trauma work is gentle, attuned, and paced to your nervous system. I integrate EMDR, parts work (IFS), polyvagal theory, and somatic approaches to help you process unresolved pain while staying grounded in the present.

Areas of focus include:

  • Developmental and attachment trauma
  • Medical and sexual trauma
  • Trauma linked to addiction or compulsive behaviors
  • Chronic freeze, shutdown, or dissociation
  • Hyper-vigilance, anxiety, and body-based symptoms

Common issues addressed:

  • Communication breakdowns
  • Trust and intimacy repair
  • Emotional reactivity and co-regulation
  • Effects of addiction or betrayal
  • Navigating trauma in relationship

Family Therapy

Families carry stories, roles, and unspoken rules that often shape how each member relates to themselves and one another. Whether you’re navigating conflict, estrangement, a major transition, or generational trauma, family therapy offers a space to understand patterns, repair ruptures, and rebuild connection with more honesty and care.

My approach draws from family systems, parts work, and nervous system regulation to help families move beyond blame and into meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and tailored to the needs of your specific family system.

Family therapy may be a good fit for:

  • Parent-child repair or reconnection
  • Adult sibling relationships
  • Navigating boundaries and roles in adulthood
  • Caring for a family member in recovery or with mental health needs
  • Intergenerational trauma and inherited patterns
