Philosophy
Alexandria’s therapeutic philosophy centers on understanding her clients’ patterns and cycles to foster meaningful, lasting change. She recognizes that these patterns can often leave individuals feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. With deep compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique experiences, she works collaboratively to help them reconnect with their authentic selves.
Believing that true transformation comes from working within a person’s natural framework, Alexandria tailors her approach to honor each individual’s strengths and needs. Her goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space where clients feel empowered to explore, grow, and cultivate lasting shifts in their lives.
Experience
Alexandria’s experience in substance use disorders is complemented by her work with diverse multicultural populations, professionals, and individuals specializing in women’s health, sexual empowerment, couples therapy, developmental trauma, and chronic illness. Under the supervision of Dr. Carli Blau, she played a key role in developing an eight-week therapy protocol for the Women to Women program at Mount Sinai, supporting clients undergoing treatment for gynecological cancers.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, she designed a group therapy curriculum for parents seeking to break generational trauma cycles and heal from their life experiences. Additionally, Alexandria has been committed to mentoring and supporting Master’s-level students while fostering the growth of clinical teams in both residential and outpatient settings.
Personal Life
When she’s not working with clients, Alexandria loves exploring new places, indulging in her passion for travel and food, or immersing herself in live music. Before becoming a therapist, she was deeply involved in the music industry, traveling on tour with musicians, managing merchandise, and designing festival spaces—experiences that shaped her deep appreciation for connection and creativity.
In recent years, she has embraced scuba diving, a practice that has deepened her understanding of meditation, breathwork, and the mind-body connection. Raised in a lively New York Italian-American household, Alexandria learned early on how to find grounding in the midst of chaos, developing a strong sense of attunement to her surroundings. She is a firm believer in co-regulation and the transformative power of community.
Her roots to New York City run deep, with cherished memories of summers spent with her grandmother, bonding over a shared love of cooking and gardening—practices that continue to inspire her today.
